Welcome to fifth grade!  I will be teamed up and teaching with Mr. Fischer again this year.  I will teach Language Arts and Social Studies while Mr. Fischer will teach Math and Science. We will learn and grow together so much in this next year and help prepare for next year in MIDDLE SCHOOL!!

 

I thought I’d tell you a little bit about myself before we officially meet.  I know that we will learn so much more about each other as we get to know each other even more.  I graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with both my Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree.  This is my fiftenteeth year teaching.  I have taught all 15 years here at the Charter School. I taught first grade here for 12 years and decided to make a change a few years ago to fifth.  I love every day of it and can't wait to continue another year in fifth!  My husband Eric and I have been married for 14 years and we have a daughter, Kennedy, who is going into fifth grade this year and a son, Karter, who will be starting Kindergarten.

 

I look forward to meeting each of you and getting to know you more at Orientation on Tuesday, August 7^th from either 11-1 or 4-6.  Feel free to bring your school supplies with you then as well.
